About the role
This position will report to the CM Lab Manager and will be responsible for data administration and customer service within our Colour Match Lab for our Canadian Operations. This position will work closely with our InPlant, technical, and production teams to ensure the highest level of service and quality to our customers.
What you’ll do
- Maintenance of information in the SAP system.
- Entering Bill of Materials (BOM’s)
- Set up new formulations based on our guidelines and customer specifications.
- Understanding label codes, hierarchy, ink codes, QC Classification, routing & pack codes, HDCC codes
- QC SAP modules
- Maintenance of existing formulations, including;
- Raw material change
- Label codes.
- Descriptions
- Adding HDCC detail
- Handling rematch information
- Formulation Conversions
- Maintenance of document filing system.
- Responsible for print folder creation and making ready for dispatch to the customer
- Entering colour match requests into internal docket control system and updating as required
- Other duties as required
Skills and Qualifications:
A successful candidate will be a strong, motivated, self-starter with a sound work ethic, knowledgeable in the ink industry, excellent customer service skills, and good computer skills.
As well as:
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Requires excellent organizational skills
- Able to work, prioritize, and complete tasks without direct supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Must pass colour test.
- Experience in Microsoft & Excel an asset
- Experience in SAP Preferred
- Good decision making skills
