Heavy Duty Mechanic

Our company is currently seeking a fully qualified Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Timberlands operations located in Port McNeill, BC.

Shifts: This position is currently on a 5x2 afternoon shift, 5 days on and 2 days off, 8 hours per day.

Requirements

• Must be fully ticketed Red Seal HD Mechanic
• Calid BC driver's license and be able to provide a driver's abstract
• OFA Level 3 certificate preferred
• Experience with west coast logging equipment (yarders, log loaders & hydraulic log loaders) preferred
• Highly developed machine diagnostic and repair skills are a benefit
• Self-starter and be able to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent safety record

This role is considered safety sensitive, all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test.
